The Music Series Collection started with an inquiry - how can I show how music makes me feel? Inspired by some of my favorite songs, and my kiddo, Mona Rae Chido Gross, who embodies the essence of musical brilliance, these paintings are my answer to that question and a visual ode to the ethereal connection between music, the spirit, and the depths of human emotion. 

 

​All seven original paintings are created on 20x28 inch paper, each with sheet music collaged somewhere within its image. Adding another layer of visual play within each painting.
