THRESHOLDS

This ongoing body of work explores interior authority and the reclamation of self. It originated with the Self Portrait Series (2020), which marked my turn toward portraiture as a central language in my practice.

These paintings are interior self-portraits — psychological works rooted in lived experience. They examine female identity at moments where responsibility and conviction meet pressure. Though varied in palette and material, they are unified by psychological terrain.
