A piece I created for A Poetic Response, a curated exhibition that explored the powerful dialogue between poetry and visual art. Curated by Samuel Peralta, the exhibition invited artists to select a classic or modern poetic verse and create an original artwork inspired by it.
The Archer was my answer to that call. The 7x5 inch watercolor painting is mounted onto a 12x9 inch piece of handmade watercolor paper and surrounded by the poem, On Children by Kahlil Gibran.
